does anyone else dislike the sound of their front end possibly because its in an suv? i have a Honda cr-v and my sound is "hollow". Im running powerbass evolution coaxials,which I know arent as good as component sets,but dont want to spend the money if the sound is ruined by this effect.anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like the problem in your system is setup or equipment rather than enviornment.

Mid in the factory location, angled towards the driver. So slanted up a bit. Tweets are not in the factory location.

my mids are in factory locations, but they fire straight out,not towards me,so im thinking placement,is the biggest factor,also coaxials arent as good sounding as components.

I have seperate mids/tweets running active. You can build an MDF baffle to help with the imaging.

I bet messing with the install will yield better results.
