Superbowl!

Definately a worthy finish there but D Mcnabb was way off target and mismanaged the clock as poorly as I've seen. TO, wow what a performance he really was their MVP for the game. A round of applause to the Pats though, their the best.

Hopefully the Patriots won't make the Superbowl next year. Would be nice to see a different team win it.
I had the displeasure of watching Belicheck coach the Browns for a few years, and do a completely piss-poor job of it. Like the Patriots, the Browns back then didn't have any stars, but a bunch of decent to good players, and we ******. Belicheck only turned out one winning season, his playcalling was so incredibly boring and predictable, and his house actually got vandalized because people here were so sick of him. This leads me to believe his coordinators are more responsible for the teams success than he is, and Weis and Crennell will be gone next year. Here's to hoping this is it for them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/toast.gif.bc0657bf54b9ee653b6438524461341e.gif

Well you all should be getting Crennell. My money was on the Patriots, but I would have rather seen the Eagles win, simply for a change, plus Andy Reid is a good guy, and I would have had a laugh after T.O. got done jawing off to the critics, even though he still can, it's just not worth it when you lose.

ehh, I not complaining. I been a patriots fan for 20 years now and this couldn't be any better. They just won three superbowls so I don't think the head coach is all that predictable. Don't forget that he won with giants as a defensive coordinator. Give him a little credit.

I don't care who bashes my team because they are my team and not yours. Everybody had there fun coming into the old foxboro stadium when this team was 1-15 and basically everyone chalked up a loss before the first ball was snapped. Now that the Patriots have put something together that hasn't been done by many teams and I could be anymore prouder.

X2

Belichick is clearly the best head coach in football. I remember a few years ago when Parcells was considered the best. He has won nothing without Belichick on his staff. Ofcourse, I think the Patriots also have the best QB(peyton manning fans can believe what they want), a great owner, and fantastic player/personnel(Belichick/Pioli). They draft so incredibly well, and Belichick's game planning is insane. If they need to shut down the supposed best offense in football(the colts), they do it. If they need to beat up on the supposed best defense in football(the steelers), they do it.

To whoever thinks it is all the coordinators, I bet if your team could get one of the coordinators or Belichick, you would take Belichick unless you are insane.

The Pats system wins. They don't have a ton of huge stars getting an ungodly amount of the salary cap. The "experts" still pick against them. Oh well, 3 in the last 4 years....I can live with that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

What makes this even more impressive is the fact that there is a salary cap in football. The Pats are playing under the same rules as every other team. This isn't like baseball where the yankees can just outspend everybody by 70-100 mil.

I would never want to have Belicheck back in a million years, unless of course he came strapped on a gurney en route to the morgue.
I think he would have quite different results if he went back to Cleveland. If you don't want the best coach in the game, that is your prerogative. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
