Been out of the car audio scene for a long while now, but since then, ive stumbled across a little bit of money and decided to throw a system in my 99 Suburban.

Basically, im just looking for opinions on the setup. . .

o.k. heres what i got so far. . . I set my budget up 3,500.00

H.U. - Pioneer AVIC-N2 + Voice Commander

Speakers -

Front - Oz Audio V 650S3 Components

Rear - Oz Audio V 650X3 Coax's

Mid Bass - 2 RE 8s

Sub - RE SX 18"

Amps -

Directed A404 (mid amp)

Directed 500/2 (pushing 8's)

RE 12.1 (sub)

Optima Yellow Top

Stinger for all my wiring kits

Only thing left now is to figure out what alarm im going to go with. . . anyone got suggestions?

I like my code alarm a lot, and have never had a problem with it. AS well its not very expensive, but from the looks of how your system is going sounds like you're going to want to buy a very nice one. I've heard many people say Viper was a good choice, but i don't have any expierance with them.
