[QUOTE="Phoenix Risen, post: 7304317, member: 623425"] all of the sundown subs like boxes on the smaller side. and jacob has said that himself. not just because of people over powering but for the simple fact of that is how the suspension on them is setup. and the sa-8s dont truly start to shine untill you throw around 600 watts to them. we have ran 4 sa-8 setups now and played around with close to 20 of them. personally with a box any larger than .75 ive noticed the response of the sub looses some of its punch and quickness. and yes in theory a 3'' aero would be "fine for daily" but why hold a piece of equipment back from getting the best possible results. if i was going to use an aero on an sa-8 it would be a 4'', but thats next to impossible due to the small box size, unless running external. op. if you need a slot port box design for a single sa-8 that will get the most out of it. shoot me a pm with your email. i already have one done. or i can make you one with different external dims to suit your needs better.
