Had some settings on the amp off and a dead battery.

Well you would think but it wasn't the worst issue the setting were what was causing his amp to protect. The dead battery would have caused much more issues killed his second battery and put the out out for sure by over driving it all the time.

He is more lucky then anything that he managed to send the amp into protect before causing more damage overall. Good catch on that one.

I asked all the right questions luckily. Made the issues easy to identify.
