I have a few questions that I hope somebody can take time to answer.
Today I hooked up two older 4 ohm DVC Audiobahn subs for my little brother. They went in a sealed box under the back seat of an extended cab truck. I ran them to a PG Xenon 1002 amp at two ohms per channel. They sound less than great, and I want to run him some better subs. I haven't been around car audio in a while, so I am looking for some suggestions ( around $200/pair for 12'') . I also have access to a Crossfire 600D for fairly cheap. It's not a mono amp, it's a 2 channel, but I am not sure what it's capable of ohm and power wise. Should I stick to the Phoenix Gold amp or go with the Crossfire? Also what ohm subs should I go with to optimize performance of the two amps I could use? Thanks a lot for any and all replies, Jake.
