Firing up in an explorer daily FTL. Firing back=less dbs on the TL but a lower peak and more pressure.....a LOT more. At least from my experience w/ multiple setups. What kinda numbers are you putting up at what freq? Also stock ford alts FTW!!!

My only suggestion is a better location for your remote entry on your SUV.

On my titan I put it on the inside of the fuel door so it is out of sight.

Man you really need a high output alt....

I didn't want to say anything to him, but since you did then I will chime in and just say that Bamaboy's Explorer is absolutely ridiculous. If you (I want SExxx) believe more pressure can be generated than what is already being generated then feel free to try your hand. Bama's ride was designed to be a pretty sick daily driver, not an SPL machine. thats what i was told before, that the new model explorers like rear firing, thats why i did 2 15s at first, but they sound just fine to me for daily crx style

You guys just totally flipped my post backwards. I said firing up=higher numbers on the TL. Firing back is better for daily though. You'll loose about 2 db on average, but peak MUCH lower and to your ears lower peak=louder and more pressure. Trust me. My 4 15's did a 151.x firing up with only 3.5kw. Firing back they did a 149.x, but peaked like 10-12hz lower and was WAY louder to the ear.

ive run subs facing back and port back,ive run subs up and ports back=the same frequency,but firing up does put up better numbers.
