Also, depending on the signal level coming from your head unit, you probably have the gain set too high and are clipping the subs. Amplifier gains are not volume controls, they're voltage matching pots and if your head unit is sending a 4 volt signal, then setting the gain at ¼ is too high.</p></blockquote><p></p>
