How do you physically set it? Or where should you set it?

You physically set it by the adjustment on your amp (assuming your amp has one). Where you set it at is dependent upon the tuning frequency of the enclosure.

For 12's, set it to around 60-70Hz.

Huzza? Methinks you mean the low pass filter...and that doesn't depend on sub size, it depends on your install...

Set your SSF to a half-octave below tuning frequency, if your box is tuned higher than 30Hz or so.

Then you'd want to set the SSF to 24hz.

May not be needed for a box that low. What type of music do you listen to? Regardless, setting it would be probably un-needed but safe anyways.
