[QUOTE="EFighter808, post: 8882860, member: 692416"] I’ve been out of the sound game since high school so it’s been about 29 years since I did. But I recently installed subs into my truck and had a fairly new used 12” Rockford subs, a brand new boss amp (I know it’s a generic brand but tried to get the quickest amp I could find) and a china made stereo deck because it was the only one I could find that had the screen that I wanted. Also no instructions were provided and I basically had to plug in whatever fit correctly. I know for sure I hooked up all sound systems correctly from the subs all the way to the deck. The deck only has one green RCA cable that’s labeled subwoofer. I bought a y split and hooked it up and nothing to the subs. I also found 2 RCA cables that was labeled audio out L and audio out R, which I hooked it up to but still nothing. The stereo is working completely fine and I changed the sound setting to have the subwoofers play but still nothing. Does anyone know how I can check to see everything after the deck is working properly? I checked ohms on the subs and both were reading 4 ohms. So the woofers itself should play some sort of sound.
