Sub wiring question

Sorry, but I'm not too knowledgable about wiring speakers. What would I need to hook up to 8" subs (already enclosed) to a 1000 watt peak amp and into my H/U obviously. Can I just buy one of those amp installation kits? Is there any kit I can buy rather than getting individual parts? yup just buy one of those walmart amp kits and you should be good to go.
