Sub performances @ MECA World Finals

<blockquote data-quote="1991gmcjimmy" data-source="post: 2386269" data-attributes="member: 572110"><p>ok instead of everyone fighting here it goes.we have had alot of problems with the autotek amps till we found out how to use them.i myself talked to mike stiers and john studley personly at db drag finals about the amps because we do like the amps but we was having alot of problems with them but most problems was that they wasnt getting fixed when they was sent in to there repair company.it was not there fault and michael huff wasnt personally blaming maxxsonics as a company.he was at first told that he had been protested and he felt he was getting screwed by another maxxsonics member but then found out that that wasnt the case.we was all suprised by the score but we also new it sounded louder than it ever was.we however never expected that score.we was expecting over a 60 though.not much though.we did have some subs some what messed up in the second run from the design that we did finish off in drive by as said.the subs being messed up was causing the amps to go in protect.it was not actually a amp problem it was a design problem which is suppose to be getting fixed.there was 6 subs messed up and we only had 3 spares.it was all 6 of the back subs and that ment each amp was hooked to at least one if not two of the subs that was messed up.the speakers are in no way junk and yes there is better for some peoples setup.this will always happen no matter how good of a sub u have.there has been a few small small problems that needed to be fixed on the sidewinders but they are a pretty good sub in all.i was pretty inpressed with them for no more than what they actually are.i know everyone has there own opionin on stuff as do i as well but there is no reason to just say that it is junk.i mean im not a big fan of sony but done some good numbers with them as well as helping dwayne martin with the famous 6.5's that did a 146.9.anything weather its cheap and u think its junk can be proven to be loud in the right setup.i have seen it many of times and it will continue to happen.as far as maxxsonics goes they make great amps havent had alot of experience with the subs but from what ive seen they are good to.hopefully they keep up the good work.i still have my autoteks and they will most likely be back in my car before long.after learning how to use them i do actually like them.ive liked them from the begging but i didnt like prtect all the time but after u learn to use them u dont have that problem near as bad.the guys from mass destruction are great guys and i will continue to run there subs win or lose.i would rather lose and have fun than win and not have any fun but thats just me.i hope to see everyone in the lanes again next year and have another year of fun once again.</p></blockquote><p></p>
