Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mr.meyhem" data-source="post: 7592410" data-attributes="member: 637679"><p>what you should probably look at is rms.  peak is how much power you could safely give them.  but rms is what you will normally be running them at.  the sa8 is rating 600 rms but i think its underrated on power.  the apsm would give you more than enough power for the sa 8.  and it wouldn't be too much stress on ur alternator.   someone else could probably explain 2 vs 4 ohms better than i could tho.  (its okay to have an amp that puts out more power than your sub)  just make sure you don't run the amp all the way up.</p></blockquote><p></p>
