sub box tuning

im gettin 2 10" W6's and was wondering what the best tuning for these are in a ported box. The box im looking at is at 38 Hz, is that too high you think? If so how low should i go?

also, is there a way to figure that by the dimensions? that might sound stupid but i know nothing about boxes, lol.

In general could adjusting it to high cause overheating to amp, busted coil on sub etc.??????

So how is it determined what it should be set at? Mine is set to where it is clear and loud(no destorestion, muddyness)........
