hey yall

im thinkin about puttin two ...most likely 10's in the back of my car ('02 mustang). and i was tryin to think of a way to have em sound good and still have plenty of trunk space left. i came up with an idea to fiberglass boxes and form them to the sides of the trunk near the rear bumper facing inward. seemed to me like that'd look pretty tight.. but how is the sq on fiberglass boxes that are homemade like that and how would u tune that. btw this is my first setup. also im lookin for some advice on what subs to buy. im lookin for like two subs putin together 400 -500 watts rms. i would put one sub but two seems like it'd look better. im lookin to get the most bang 4 the buckright now.. get somethin that sounds good and try not to pay to much for it. but mainly i wanna know what yall think of my fiberglassin idea.

thanks in advance

as far as the tuning goes most fg jobs are sealed so there is no tuning involved. but there are ways to tune fg you have to be creative and use things like sand and what not to find the volume of the enclosure. then tune port it.

as far as subs go do you have any preferences as there are tons in different sizes and prices . . .what is your budget? also do you already have an amp?

well i was kinda hopin to do the whole job for under 350... but that might not be possible cuz no i dont have an amp yet. so i mean somewhere around there i could do a little more maybe. but i mean do u think that fg would sound just as good as a good wood box?
