Stuck on Valentine's gift!

I bought her a card 3 weeks ago, but I have no idea what I should get her for V-day. I know she wants a Canon lens, but dangit...they're $160!!! I thought about giving her $100 and taking her to a place in B'ham called "The Summit", since she loves to shop there. Trouble with that is she works 6 days a week @ 12 hours a pop= 72 hours of work, and on her "off" day she's in class. So, that's a no-go. I'm lost. I could buy her the lens...but I dunno...

I honestly wouldnt get her what she wants, because she is expecting it. I would get something original but I dont know the girl so I dont really know what you should get lol.

Then maybe you can give her some money on the side and she can do with it what she wants, or whatever.

She wouldn't expect a lens. She is thinking about buying it, but it's not an item where she's been hinting at all.

I'm not asking for what to get her...that would be hard for anyone to suggest a gift for someone they don't know. I was just stating that I might go that route since I know it's something she'll enjoy.

haha, you want to hear something funny? i am getting an axe for v-day. we are on our fourth year and are pass the box of chocolates, roses, and jewelery. we mainly get each other stuff that we need.

get her the lens and something meaningful like an album to go with it. stick a few pictures in it of you guys and say its "our" album.
