Have you tried running the hifonics at 1 ohm?
I need that exact amount of power at 1.

No i have not ran it under 2ohms. This amp was used for a single 15" Adire Brahma D1 wired at 2ohms. It is not recommended to run under 2ohm load so I have never tried.

Good eye.. These are "special editions" This exact one was made for a comp car that was never finished. They had 10 made and 8 was going into the car. I bought them off an unnamed guy that worked at cerwin vega. Now there are plenty of other SE version made. But there is a difference that is hard to see in the pictures. This 12" is triple coated as apposed to the normal single coated kevlar cones. They uses their stiffest spiders and extra coating to make this handle more power.
