Strokers actually loud subs?

I've never got to actually hear these subs. the design just always looked too weird to sound good. are these subs really as loud as they claimed? anybody hit big numbers with these? thanks

lol, not sure about new ones, but the old ones were bar setters. do a search.

I do remember them winning a SQ comp with a crazy custom box, maybe someone can clarify, but do a search and your answer will find you.

that's what was funny to me. of all things i've heard debated on forums, strokers output capabilities def. isn't 1 of them.

yup, most debates i've seen about the strokers are regarding their SQ

some people claim they sound like poop, while others will fight to the death that they're actually some of the best sounding subwoofers ever made........

keep in mind that the bias of the suspension is actually adjustable, so you could theoretically have the best of the both worlds, although i can't say from experience, and only a handful of people here have ever even SEEN one....
