Street A

He's talking about dB drag, not MECA. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
No fuses. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

For street A, you are limited to two tens and one battery, so a good place to start would be efficient amps and woofers, and a battery that can take alot of abuse.

The WR that was posted above was acheived with two DD Z1's and two 10" L7's (not solo x's).
and that would be exactly what i would run //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

DD Z1 is a sweet *** amp but pretty spendy - was lookin at like $500-750 woofers and $500-750 for amps! keep the shit rolling - any other fellow Street A's out there?
more like $900 (at least) a piece for the Z1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I am a wannabe street A. Mostly waiting and saving up for next season (2007) I will have enough saved to only work one job and be out of school so I will have time for it.

It looks like those new L7s are pretty good, but phat hertz can get some good numbers out of the type rs for less than half the price. And to be real effective in street a, i would double my amp budget. Nearly all the termpro people are running a strapped pair, or a collosus/goliath/2500D

You'd also have to have a CRX //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

haha - listen to you guys all hell bent on ur crx - anybody like to think outside the box? Yes I know all about the 89-92 crx's that get loud with no effort or testing!

I hate the fact that I have to buy a crx, yet I have read tons of info that pointed to a superiority of crx. There is also a guy on this forum that got 3rd or so in street b with a trunk car. The ford exp/mercury ln7 also will work.

I think I can do well with a trunk car, but lots of trial and error before I hit 157 in a trunk car.

If you want to win at Finals this year, you'll need a battery... that has not been mentioned //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

I'd definitely go with a pair of 10's though if you want to be competitive. Also, consider boxes with 6" aeroports like you said... as well as bandpass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

No. Neither of those have anything to do with what I said. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
