strapping two pa a3000db's

i was wondering if anyone could tell me how many watts two a3000db amps would put out strapped at 2 ohms, i have two amps and dunno if i should run each sub at 1 ohm to each amp or wire them together to two ohms and strap the amps, ive emailed pa the past two days and still nothing any help would be great

I believe those are 2 ohms strapped. I had one. I think thats what they said when I called and asked them because I was considering a strapped setup also. 3000RMS ? forgot or 2400

yea, you can strap them at 2 ohms, but i dont know how much power they push strapped ???

rms power at 1 ohm is 2300 watts, on each amp

I have done extensive testing on these amps. With each amp seeing a 1 ohm reactive load, you should see about 3000 watts out of the pair. The 2300 watt rms rating that Power Acoustik claims will never happen on a 12 volt system. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!

yea i didnt figure id ever see a full 2300rms, so in your opinion would it be better to run these to each sub seperately at 1 ohm, or strap em and hook them up to the subs like that, the subs are two orion hcca 12.2's
