bud showed me his amp he said he speaker wires touched eachother and the amp went up in smoke. umm shouldnt (speaker short protection) have kicked in? you would think.

$1500 retail amp a few yrs ago...

too bad was a solid amp but i have seen a couple of them blow i have sold.
