well, my headunit volume goes to 63 so we did set the gains at 3/4 volume. We did use a DMM to set them. If my amp is clipping I really would have to say these new HD amps ****! But honestly I do not think that is the problem. If I was clipping extremely bad too, I think I would blow one of my 60 amp fuses that the JLHD750 uses. And my 12W7's are in 2cubes EACH so that should be plenty for them. More would obviously be better, but in order to save a little bit of my trunk we had to keep it at 4cubes total. The12voltsux: I will definitely check that out. See, the way my trunk is that it is shallow all the way to the back then gets more wider up front. The box was cutom built to to get some cubes in the narrow space all the way backed up to the seat and then gets wider in the bulk of the trunk. The thing I noticed is that it does not seem that deep behind where tha W7's are because the box is almost like an upside down T, if you can imagine that. So the back of the subs(part thats inside the box) really moves a lot??? How much do you think it moves??? How would I know if its hitting the back of the box??? And my car is a 2008 Honda Accord with, I believe a 110 amp alternator. The other day I bumped for a good hour on the highway and never noticed it cutting out once. But then last night when it was parked I noticed it right away when I got going, but then once driving the problem did not return....voltage you think??? please help, this sucks! eddie
