OK WTF? I don't know how this works for me.

I (according to the IRS info) do not qualify for a stimulus check because I live at home and my parents can claim me as a dependent. I also am 19, so therfore I am not considered a child (under 17), so my parents wont get anything for me either. So as far as I can see, I won't get ANY at all, when I work and pay taxes just like everyone else? Is that correct?

That is correct. If you are a dependant, you get nothing.

its only if they claimed you as a dependant iirc.

If you were a dependant on somebody else's return you get no check. If you are not considered a "child" just a dependant then I dont' think your parents get the bonus 300 in their rebate check.

Yeah thats what it looks like to me. It kind of sucks, but I was never looking forward to it anyway. I dont need the extra money, but it would have helped me buy my new rims/tires that I am currently saving for.
