I've been to db drag finals twice, so I've been around all the loudest cars in db drag. Including seeing bob do a 163 in bassrace last year just messing around. I've sat in randy kubeks F-150 that does mid 150's in bassrace in the 30 hz range, and lets not forget my teammate joe's escape that would bassrace a 154 with 4 15's.
Go ahead and make fun of MECA if you want, doesn't really bother me. I've still accomplished a lot more than you have, including in DB drag. I can bassrace a 145 with a 10" and a 139 with an 8", while you do a what? 135 with 2 12's? Have you even metered at the headrest? It's not as easy as you perceive it to be. My teammate is actually louder sealed on the dash than he is outlaw at the headrest.

And yes, I HAVE bassraced over a 140 at a db drag show (chris norris' show 2 weeks ago, i broke out of the 139.9 class at the last second with one 10")

okay, I was just notified of this thread. So let me start, in that video, I wasn't looking for drama or anything of the sort. I was there minding my business supporting Avenue sounds at their SPL event by just displaying the Beast until those kids with the shop owner were pressing me and I was getting real hyped because of the cheerleaders in his crew. I am not the "loudest ", never claimed to be. The belt thing is just a hype thing in NY to draw guys back into the shops to spend. Yes, I have Kinetik and Connect2 Car as sponsors. 300,000 is a heavy number to swallow for some guys. The tab includes when the vehicle was new, paintjob, rims, equipment and so on. What made the tab so high is the install job where they were expensive but hey, I am here now with it so I have to eat it. It's easy to knock this and that and everyone has an opinion but they are like *****, everyone has one. The Meade vs. BFE thing is an exhibition and for fun between to guys that respect each other and decided to have a sound-off for "FUN". If you don't want to know about this exhibition, keep it moving. It's easy to talk tough on the computer because in reality we probably won't ever see each other and if we did, you can discuss your gripes like men and that's it to that. Listen, the vehicle is for promos of the mag and like it or dislike, you going to have to accept it. If I was to go to Meade, or Hoe Problems, or that van with 20 15" or any vehicle of those crazy setups and get my *** handed to me, guess what, I will give them my hand and thank them. I will have no problems sleeping at night knowing I lost. To guy knocking my mag, maybe it didn't sell at your spot but it's elling according to the numbers and the check the distributor sends me. Im going on issue#9 with Fosgate, Clarion, Mmats, Cerwin-Vega, Beyma and Kinetik as a few of my sponsors, I must be doing something right. Im going on issue#9 with Fosgate, Clarion, Mmats, Cerwin-Vega, Beyma and Kinetik as a few of my sponsors, I must be doing something right. Thanks xplorerdonon22s. To tell you the truth, my distributor moves it around to the vendors to see where it's prime location would fit. I went national @ #5 and they are still shaking it around. Im not established like a Car Audio Mag, DUB, LowRiders, PAS or so on... but with a little time.
