Very very efficient, does more than rated.

Packs alot of power for the size, can be used in full range applications as well. Crossover goes up to 15khz.

So far... the best Stetsom amp I have tested, IMO.

Have had troubles out of the others ones I've had through my shop -- but the 2k5d did what it was supposed to no problem. Just needs bigger power terminals !

What other models did u test??

I read about your 10kd test where u got 12k+ from it @ 18 volts.

Yep. Had a 10kd and got good power but it broke when we got 12.8k (output FETs) we were getting close to the 13.7k claimed on a 16v system.

I have a 4k2d right now with a broken output FET (or a couple maybe). Didn't get to test it yet. I will once I get it back from repair.

I had a 7kd through here and it worked but I never power tested it -- was a bit leery of testing it too hard.

I may just have bad luck.

The 2k5d worked great, though. Got really similar numbers to the SAZ-2000D -- of course the 2k5d was at 2 ohm and the 2000D at 1 ohm per their ratings.

The 10kd worked initially until the power testing killed some output FETs.

The 4k2d was supposed to work -- but had not been tested for a few months before it's arrival. Did not work on arrival.

The 7kd did work but I was a little scared of pushing it too hard in testing.

The 2k5d was brand new -- worked great, no problems in testing. Protection worked well when wired too low or pushed to hard. All in all a good performing amp - but needs bigger power inputs. My KNU 4 awg wouldn't fit.

Of all the brand new and used stetsom amps that i used/sold.

I havent experienced any problems with them as yet, even in loud daily driver systems.

Once u treat them well, they treat u well.

It would work well for that -- I suggest the 2 ohm model of course.

Wire each sub in series (8 ohms) then all in parallel for 2 ohms at the amp.
