I liked the Stetsom 10k better, because it is smaller and easier to handle. Even though I did not get to test the LV at its optimum impedance, I believe the 10k would have been a tadd, and a very small tadd bit stronger amp per amp.

What makes the 10K and 7K2d diffrent amps when they use the same board? I knew that the other version of the 10k was made for higher voltages but this one is a 12v version so what makes it so different then the 7k2d

But if you have enough battery power going to both amps, you could not see any difference! However, if I am correct, THE ONE YOU GOT is from Dtbrown, and that SOB was 0.1db louder than the 10k. I should know because I tested the 10k 12 volters, when they first came out, along with both 7k2d's that Dtbrown had, at finals. The 7k2d you got is an abomination. It thinks it is a 10k. This is a hell of a deal cuz just to get this 12v competition option cost more money then just getting a reg 7k2d or 10k. Main benefit with the 12v competition with extra caps is more power with limited battery but with a bank of batteries not much difference from reg 7k2d or 10k. This probably won't last that long at this price.
