Anyone know where I can find some C-Channel, and some steel plates?

C-channel for raising my seats, plates for extending my seat. By plates I really mean I would need like a 3 inch by 6 inch section or somewhere close to that. I would prefer not to buy like 4 ft by 8 ft sheets. Thickness let say about as thick as the average garage door metal (22 gauge?) I just need the steel to be thick enough to not break under pressue, but still thin enough to bend.

I tried local home depot and lowes. . . negative on that!

Try some local junk yards or salvage yards.

Nothing I have found in my area has it (ive only called like 5), I even called C&D scrap metal which is supposed to have alot of metals and they dont sell C-Channel. Awesome!

Lowes has everything you are looking for. Look in the hardware section near the screws.

Alright if your sure then ill run there once im off work. I called and they said I would need to go to a speciality shop for angle Iron and C-Channel!

I just looked on lowes onlines hardware section and see them there.

I need it to push our my rear seat far enough so that I can fit and amp box back there. (only need like an inch extra room. If people sit on my seat which is attached to this which in turn is attached to my rear wall thats not enough force to bend the metal back is it?
