Stay with L7s or get 2 15" Mofos?

Hey I just started looking at the mofo subs by power acoustik and they seem to be cheaper (price) than the L7s. They also claim to do 1500rms. I wanted to know if it was up to you guys, what would you rather have two 15" Kicker L7s or two 15" mofo subs?

L7's all the way unless u misspelled Mojo then i would say get those. But i wouldnt buy a power acoustic sub. I have some L7 12's for sale if you are interested.

Well , I personally owned the PA mofo 12. I can say this about the ONE , single subwoofer setup I was using with it in a 2.5^3 box had ups and downs.

Prior to this subwoofer , I boasted a pair of Orion Xtr 15" that not only hit with amazing SQ on all different freq's but they would bounce my radar detector on my winshield untill it fell off so much so that I purchased a Valentine one radar detector to handle the abuse. http://www.valentineone.com for audio enthusiest who speed but cant hear your detector beep ! Theres nothing better in the market for you while speeding ** litterally nothing is better ** .

Now in regards to the mofo . At the time my setup was a pioneer 7600 , a brutus 1500d , and PA components and 6x9's. The shit just hit hard as hell and was amazing set on level 1 of the volume. That impressed me over every setup ive had. The subwoofer itself excurded air through the duel ports I designed and would hit you with a gust 7ft from the box. Not to mention I failed to use basic ohms law of power and just kept the shits gain on highest possible. The system not once ever gave. Abusing it like this showing off etc.. for a single sub .. made me wonder about a pair of 15's MOFO's. The sound outside the car as far as the subs go didnt sound so loud , but then again I created the box for low freq design with coefficiant power deduction which again.. I failed to abide by and kept gain on full. The system together lasted about 2 months , teh sub blew ! to my shock the voice coils were fine... externally looked in working condition but froze cone. So to review the thermal damage on the bobbin I took the magnets apart ((***** hard of a thing to do and not smash a finger LOL )). The advertising of its rating.. I dont doubt it could handle! Its voice coils design meant little with the small coil wind on the bobbin .. So ide say the **** sub has a poor motor.

All and all, sounds like shit , hits hard as hell , and makes windows rattle. WITH JUST ONE OF THEM !

However I personally am facing the respect of the ancient " Pay for what you get" beign Oh so ever true. My interest in hand is about Orions latest products being the H2's .. and for the price in comparisson what would out perform them ?
