dont take this the wrong way but why wouldnt you set up a small assembly line of skilled workers and just make 50 D2 and 50 D4? Im guessing the motors are done with a CNC setup.

Thanks for the reply Denim. I wasn't looking for a hard number or anything, I expect it to be a little while. I was wondering more along the lines of the current average (for example, four weeks, eight weeks, etc)

In the past few weeks they have REALLY stepped up their game.

OP you ordered an awesome sub and I know that the wait sucks, but once you get it you will forget about the wait.

I wish it was that simple. We are not remotely charging enough money for the factory to afford the man power to get that far ahead of orders. We could easily charge more money, but people want American made sub woofers for Chinese made prices.

The last handful that have been pretty much on the stated 21 business day run. A few Evils are late due to the coils being late.

For what its worth. Take all the time needed. My gut tells me you guys are doing a fantastic job. You can't beat a hand made American product. I was happy to pay the extra money for the Gcon instead of the cheaper SA12. It pleases me to know that I put money in an Americans plate. Not to mention helped get that dude his prosthetic . Ik I made the right choice.

Thanks much for the answers, I look forward to subs. I sent an email to you guys for a friend earlier too, asking about a specific order from last month. I'm not trying to rush anyone either, gives me time to dynamat and work on an amp mount.

So as Im following the tracking number I notice that nothing updated for 2 days. So in my curiosity I call UPS and explain. After given the lady my tracking number she tells me that is was lost or misplaced //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. Im like WTF!! She then tells me I have to contact SSA and they need to handle it cuz they are the shipper. Well I email Aaron and explain and no sooner than I sent his one I sent one to UPS. It was quite ugly I could only imagine the things they called me lol. The thing is that Im a full time student. I go to school 8 hours a day for 5 days a week and am on unemployment. It took me months to save up for this sub, and then I waited 3 month for it to built. Now UPS tells me its lost. Anyway about an couple hours after my email to UPS my package was found and is on the way here. Dumb *****

stuff like that happens man, they deal with more packages an hour than most people can fathom. when you look at the percentage of what gets lost or damaged, its actually really small.

Glad they found it. We had some amplifiers shipped to our NY office and they told us 1/2 of them were lost, only to see them show up yesterday.
