strickly in terms of the factors listed in the title... would two ss rli 8" ported do better or 4 ss rli 8" sealed?

I'm not looking for spl here...although 4 rli's would be plenty inside the cabin lol...

Honestly, I'd probably go with the four sealed drivers...

If you're looking for low end extension, i wouldnt use 8" drivers. I think 2 Eclipse SW8200's would do well in your situation. What kind of volume are you working with? I've got an 8200 and the SQ is unbelievable. It's got a 3" LMT voice coil and holds 650w rms. Only thing I had a little difficulty with a single driver is the SVC 4 ohm.

for the lowend i'd go ported....

for the sq and fast response i'd go sealed.....

i'd probably go with the 4 sealed... your lowend should still be admirable

thanks guys, i only have 2 sq ft total to play with and i'm doing a downfiring set up under the rear bench in my truck. i could do 0.5 cu ft ported with a 3" tube port but i don't know how that would compare to a 0.5 sealed...

also since i only have a 11" total depth, i can't do more than 8" sub
