This one is for all the sports fans-for each of the 4 major sports, who would you chose to build a team around?

Here are my picks:

Baseball- Kind of obvious to me, A-Rod

Basketball- This ones a tie, and it showed why in last years finals- Shaq/Kidd

Football- Vick or Faulk

Hockey- Forsberg

Basketball- Jordan/Pippen. Always. Always. Always

REMEMBER THE TIMES:

6 TIME NBA CHAMPS.....

72-10 RECORD, BEST EVER...

I'm from Chicago, don't mind me...

Football- Urlacher

Baseball- Sosa!

Football - Vick. This is only his 2nd year and hes an MVP candidate. He's going to be insane 3-4 years down the road. He already creates major problems for the defense, and if he can step up his passing efficiency a little bit, he can literally be a one man team.

Basketball - Kidd. Not only has he picked up his outside shooting this year, but he makes every player on his team better. Shaq can't do that.

Baseball - Tough one....i'll have to think about it

Hockey - not a big hockey fan....ill say Eric Lindross just for the hell of it

Baseball- Ichiro or Scott Rolen (helluva defensive player)

Basketball- Carter

Hockey- Probably Peter Forsberg

Football- Vick or Moss (imagine them on the same team) Rookies: Watch Antwan Randel-El...he is gonna be a star...

Very good choices...I think Carter needs to come back strong whenever he does come back, to show that he is still what he was 2 years ago. Wanna talk NFL rookies to watch out for, Clinton Portis- that guy is insane

Football ~ Vick, already been stated

Basketball ~ Iverson, attack attack attack

Baseball ~ undecided...maybe ??????

Hockey ~ Gretsky? lol...please just because I said your name don't pull a Jordan on me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif

You gotta pick the best player at the most important position ... The pitcher is the most important player in baseball, the point guard is the most important in basketball, the goalie is the most important in hockey, and the quarterback is the most important in football.
I disagree, it's hard to build a team around a pitcher...especially when the pitcher is having arm problems.

Eat me!!!!!

Baseball- Manny Ramierez

Football- Amani Toomer or that Cheif TE i just forget his name

Basketball- i don't watch it much so.........Dr. J

Hockey- Roenick, Hasek, or Borque

Soccer- Cobi Jones

Boxing Ali, or "baby" Joe Mesi. You guys watch for this buffalonian........he's gonna be bad assed.

J

and i dont watch hockey
Good choices cept for lebron james- there are so many holes in his game, the biggest one being that he has no mid range game, cant hit a jumper for his life. The guy is gonna be in for a big surprise next year when he plays with guys that are all bigger and faster and stronger than him, hes gonna wish he played college hoops.

yea, i kno he cant hit a jumper if his life depended on it, kinda like when he called off his teammates when they were playing oak hill and threw up an air ball from 3, but this kid is the real deal. given time and his skill level, he will get that jumper down, and we're talking about a person to build a dynasty around, this kid is young, and he's got talent, if this kid isnt able to come in and get big minutes his rookie season, he will blow up his second season... he definetly won't be no kwame brown, and will most likely be able to play from the get-go, a-la-kevin garnett. but should have a greater impact imo

He has an NBA body, his physical skills are disgusting. I live in Cleveland about 45 minutes away from Akron, and wehn I was senior I played against him when he was a freshman, and he was sick back then. He's truly a man amongst boys. His jumper isnt that bad, but you have to remember he is only 17 and hasnt had a professional coach him on how to shoot his jumper and play the NBA game. And you cant judge him as a player until at least his 3rd year in the league, no high school to NBA players have been even decent until their 3rd year.....disregarding Amare Stoudemire

But he is a terrible choice to build a team around, kid has never played an NBA game.

here are my 2 favorite sports monologues of all time:

iverson's "practice" speech

and jim mora's "playoff" press conference

kevin garnett was better than in his first year than amare stoudemire. and what about moses malone? daryl dawkins? ok, maybe not chocolate thunder, but the other two for sure were better than amare.

Haha,

A.I.- "what are we talking about? practice? cmon now, practice?!?!?!"

Mora- "playoffs!?!?!!? playoffs!?!?!?!?!", or how about his "diddly-poo" speech? or the "I'm sure people vomited today when they saw our special teams" Haha Jim Mora was funny as hell.

Well, in Garnett's first season, he averaged 10.4 pts a lil over 6 rebs and almost 2 assts, while stoudemire is averaging 12.6 pts, over 8 rebs, and about 1 assist, I give the edge to Amare so far this year. But I don't think James will be a big factor for at least 2-3 years, and when he does develop, I don't think he'll be the type of player to build a team around. I think right now he is wayy too cocky and doesn't know what hes in for next year.

OK **** I CANT BELIEVE THAT THE BROWNS LOST! **** THAT WAS A GREAT GAME AND THEY DESERVED TO WIN!

AND VICK IS UNBELIEVABLE!

thats all i have to say //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
