Spoke to the dude who had the DD today

His name was Mike and was really cool. He said he was actually thrilled that someone knew who Digital Design was. That DD makes a good loud sub that will last. He was running Pioneer HU a 12" 3500 and (get this)a Lanzar Opti 800 + what ever he had for mids and hi! Had the sub in a pretty big ported box. I asked him how many cubes it was but can't remember what he said. Anyway he played some Lil John and it was F'n LOUD! I asked him how he got it and he said direct from DD. Told me if I where ever interested to let him know and he would hook me up with the person down there that he always deals with. He confirmed they are made here in OKC. Or well they ship from there atleast. Well just wanted to let yall who read my original post a couple days ago know what went down.

cool. I've wanted to play w/ a DD sub for a while.. but funds don't allow it atm..

and it's always nice to meet another person who's into audio, i always enjoy it.

this dude was real cool and seemed to know his stuff. said he would build the box for me if i where to buy a dd sub. he was talking all kinds of stuff about the woofer moves 4x as much as the something or other and to mount the sub up and the port towards the back of my blazer and this would help the waves mesh together as they came forward and blah blah blah...

I get soo excited and ppl know what RE is man. I told someone i had a Hifonics amp they said "Hifonics hasnt made anything in years." How do explain thats its a 03' amp and they just came out with a 2200 watt amp this yr?

Ya i get excited when I see people run RE at comps, especially XXX(s). I simply ask them to hear it. Never heard a bad setup with them and everyone ive seen with them seem to know what they are doing and how capable it is.

Yeah he we also talked about RE and Adire too. It was really sweet to actuall talk to someone face to face about the stuff that I read here.

No one around me has RE. Cuz they say its too much money. WTF dude. How is it too much money? Plus most of them never heard of em. Lol i love it when ppl tell me how many watts there amp pushes. Thats all. MY AMP IS PUSHING 2000 WATTS. Thats all they tell me. Not if they got 1 2 3 or 4 subs hooked up. Cuz that makes a world of difference. Each sub could be takin only like 500 watts. But no MY SYSTEM IS BADASS BASED APON MY AMP.

Yea, ppl keep telling me a Cap will save my alt. And its soo important i get one. They help out a system soo much. Thats what they tell me. I think they are worthless.

heh, the cap will kill your alt.. just get a yellow top, and a 150a gm alternator.. i think you have a chevy right?? it's pretty easy to find a way to mount the 138a in your truck (4.6l v6 right?), and the part would be verry easy to find in a junkyard.

just looked @ your sig.. wow, i'm an idiot.. haha. looks like you drive a ford. dunno much about ford, but i bet the alts from the older broncos were pretty high amperage, and they could fit into the f-150. you'd just need to go to a f-150 forum and find someone w/ a shitload of lights on their truck for night-wheeling.
