the spiders are partially ripped on the subs... so i just beat the ish out of them. More or less seeing what they can handle.I'm talking to you,I was in ur truck the guy in the polo and the kid you battled in the camry hopped in, What was funny the 3rd kid with us saw in ur window and goes bet those aren't loud at ur 12's And i'm like dude i bet they pound,Then you were warming up or something and ur girlfriend had to hold the back window I was laughin at him and going good call chad.
but are you clippin at all
I played with my crossovers a little bit on the way home and got them sounding A LOT better. They like being crossed over very low, at least by my standards. I had them crossed over at 80 w/ a 12 db per octave slope at the show, now there at 63hz w/ a 18 db per octave slope.
I don't think my amp is clipping. I put everything in that truck the day before that comp, so i'm still getting stuff dialed in. Could have been that crossover issue. When i demo'd for you guys i turned it up about 2 notches past where i had ever taken it too..
