SPL Upgrade - AQ SDC15's -> (2)AQ HDC315 or (2)Mach5 15" SPL's

Current system bangs like a mother but Ive never done a huge stereo with more than 2000rms and done it properly so I was thinking of upgrading.

I am HOPING for ease of install, to use the box I have, which is 10.4 net (9.2 internal i think) tuned to 37-38hz

Im basically looking to shake my eyes, just get silly loud and still sound good on music. I am curious as to how much power these can take reliably though, I only bump for like 30min a day but I like it loud when I do. The mach5's only list 1500rms, but im thinking they should take ALOT more..... curious how much the audioque can hit aswell. Has anyone tried the spl 15"? couldnt find anything in search

Best bang for the buck spl sub out of the 2....... SPL 15's would work out to about $900 shipped, audioque about $750-800 with duties.....

Any good deals on any big amps to power em?

the mach5's would be 880 before shipping and the aq's would be 500 before shipping (copper coil). if price is of no concern then it would be the mach5's. on a budget then the aq's will do. edit: just noticed you had a link for da 18"aq which wouldnt be a fair comparison imo.

I would go with the Mach 5s. For big amps I maybe selling my almost new Cadence ZRS-9000. Pm me if interested.

Got pulled over by an undercover cop today that followed me all the way home. He told me he was 4 cars back and he still couldn't hear his police radio from inside his car because of my music. He had to be exaggerating a little but still pretty funny.

Anyway the AQ's only gonna run ab $650 IIRC they only add $25 for shipping per sub....

its all going to depend on how much power to plan on running to the 2. 3k-4.5k I would go with the hdc3 copper coils, anymore I would go with the Mach5 SPL's, as I ave read reviews of them excepting high amounts of power

Yeah my substage is already louder than I like to "listen" to on some songs and sounds great, and Im debating just giveng them twice the power im currently giving them, which is about 500, go an amp underrated @ 2000rms and run this shit out of the audioques, they can probly take it.

but I just know theres so much louder if I went with some mach spl's and 3 to 4000 watts, but that puts me in the stage where i have to go big h/o alt, batteries, more runs etc.

Im currently running the stock 110amp alt with the 1300ish rms and its no problem, i think it could take the 2000ish I wanna run to the aq's

Dont really know how much audible gain and more punch in the chest I'll get by switching over to pure spl and high wattage with the spl's, gauging if it would be worth the $2000 to go that big.... u know
