Yeah I have checked out the MTX website and there is a new cone kit for the subs, must be something wrong with the first cone.

I am from Canada, how much do those subs go for in the U.S.? you said something about 2 for a 1000, thats not that much.

absolutely nothing wrong with the cone.. the RFL is, was, and will always be an SPL competition burp woofer.. But people kept wanting / trying to run the **** subs in daily use, and kept eating them up.. (Fs above 60hz, cms sky high, no wonder) SO mtx designed a cone and coil to allow daily use...
