Hello;

Between the RF P3d415 and the CVR15, which one can produce more SPL on a ported box with each of their recommended enclosure meausures? (Assume that both subs are properly powered by an amp, up to their optimal wattage levels)

do a search dude, the P3 and CVR have been compared plenty of times... after a little bit of searching you may even discover there are brands that exist that your local stereo shop doesn't carry that are better and cheaper //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Yes spencer, the first thing I read on this forum is rule number 3:

3) SubX vs SubY

- Do a search. Seriously. At least 100 threads on every possible sub.

Yes, I did search all this forum and did not find a single thread comparing these subwoofers. I also searched on Google, to no avail.

If you're so sure there is a thread about this, you should have at least posted a link, and pour even a minimum amount of quality onto your post.

There is no comparison between the CVR15 and the p3d415 on SPL in that thread... but thanks anyway.

In my experience Cvr > P3.

IMO p3 will hold up longer and be louder than the cvr. Its more comparable to the L5. The p3 is a solid sub. Nothing special about the cvr. Both are good subs that I have beat on in the past and neither one failed.
