It'd be a great budget setup for someone's wife or someone just starting out. What was the sub designed for? Mainly SQ or SPL? Obviously does well in small boxes.

spl it gets loud. was in my "daily driver beater to work car" until the timing belt went and i ended up with bent valves.

Well that sux! Had a timing belt go in my '02 Focus. The mechanic said it had something built in to stop it from bending the valves when that happens...I beat that car to the tune of around 45k miles a year when I was doing contract work.

Well that sux! Had a timing belt go in my '02 Focus. The mechanic said it had something built in to stop it from bending the valves when that happens...I beat that car to the tune of around 45k miles a year when I was doing contract work.

yea man i do around 25 to 30k a year. It was an interference engine. went with a vw diesel now. 45 plus mpg and the engine will last forever mileage wise.
