I would assume the mod allows you to start at a lower nominal impedance than stock. If you wire at .25 ohms you will never see .25 ohms at the amp, it will probably be closer to 1 ohm with rise

well it all depends on your impedance rise. I'm not sure what that amp is rated but you should be getting all of the 1 ohm power if not more especially starting at .25. I have the tools to measure what it will actually do in your car using your enclosure. If you want I can bring them down next time I go to my parents and we can meet up.
