The stones don't hurt too bad while in the kidney. Just kind of a lower back ache.

It's when they get stuck in your Ureters or Urethra. Then you can't pee and throw up and the pain is like a knife in your back that keeps getting twisted. as for the penis, it burns a little when they finally come out and for a little while after, depending on the size. Other then that, the relief from passing them is the best.

i drink prolly a gallon of water a day,i got my first kidney stone when i was 18,now im 27 and i still pass them prolly once every 6 months,nothing to major yet,my brother and dad had to get there's blasted.

Have had them since 8th grade, first one I was 14. Have had a couple per year since then pretty much. It hurts a lot, but not that bad. I once had a tube from my bladder to kidney to keep my ureter from becoming inflamed and closing after they took a scope to my kidney to make sur eit was only a stone and not cancer. Most painful thing ever, couldn't sleep, got like 2 hours in a period of 5 days. I was on vicodin, it didn't do shit to help the pain. My brother has also had them. There is definite proof that you can be genetically disposed to them as my mom has had problems with them too. All in all, kidney stones do ****, but there is nothing more relieving than finally passing the fucking things.

Never had kidney stoned before. Worst pain I've ever had, was probably after my knee surgery. Felt like someone jabbed a rusty flathead screwdriver underneath my kneecap. I can count the times I've cried in the past 5 years on one hand, and I was crying from the pain. It was nasty.
