I know there are a thousand threads about this vs. that so Ill try not to do that. Anyway,Im looking for some speakers for my 07 Dodge Ram.It had 6x9 's and now I want some comps.Ive been listening to a ton of them and there are some I like and some I dont.I really liked the JL stuff,MB Quarts, and Alpines.I didn't like Kicker,Eclipse or the Polks. I came across what seems like a good deal on a set of Boston Pro 50's.He wants 220.00 for them, they are brand new. Good deal???I cant audition them no one sells them locally. One question I have is this,Ive been looking at 6.5 comp sets, will a 5.25 set sound a lot different than the 6.5's?? Im looking at 2 amps right now. One is a 150x2 Phoenix Gold the other is a 200x2 PPI.Im looking for really clean sound with at least some decent midbass. Would these speakers work for what I want to use?? I listen to mainly 80's type metal with maybe some new rock and some country(For the wife )
