Spacer?

I have a recone coming for my MT. i was looking at my dp and it has spacers between the motor and the basket. maybe 1/4 inch..does the coil have to be longer to account for this or could I grab a washer and put it in between the basket and motor to aid cooling a bit?

i wouldnt try it... the DP was specificlly designed like that so the softparts were lengthend accordingly

if you got the recone kit in pieces then you could prolly do it but if it comes fully assembled and ready to drop in (which it prolly will) then it wont work

If you space the basket off the motor with stock soft parts, then the coil isn't going to sit evenly in the gap.
