i dont believe this shit at all. if anyone were racists it would be south mississippi......but you wont see that here usually. theres select few of course but those are the rednecks, the rest are southerners that love where they are from. i think im the only white kid on my block wit the exception of my neighbors that are older. its funny u judge a whole state on one dick head cop. im sure the 7 of u were dicks to the cop tryin to be cool or something. u can transport alcohol at any age if its closed. u guys were prolly dicks to the guy and he felt the need to make u pay. i woulda done the same. maybe he was racist......but obviosuly noone at wal-mart was correct? i mean.....noone beat their *** and arrested them there. i hate ****tards like you that judge a whole state/area on the map on one incident. fu(k u and ur thoughts of people in the south. im tired of hearing "they are all racist rednecks" yet u have been once with a dick head cop, or not once at all. where i live its purely blacks and whites and NEVER do u hear of violence of racial meanings. fu(k the bullshit *** comments on the south. come for a week and youll see how cool it is.

1) Racism is everywhere...but traditionally is more overtly practiced south of the Mason-Dixon line. Yeah, it sux but it's true

2) It is not legal to have alchoholic beverages under the age of 21 in any of the 50 United States that I am aware of

3) You're lucky that all you were charged with is underage possession ~ if the cops had really wanted to be dicks then you could have potentially been charged with illegal transportation across state lines (which crosses into federal offense territory - be glad you were dealing with some local yokels and not ATF)

4) I can't speak for Pennsylvania as I have no knowledge of the local laws and regulations there but in some places (such as here) it is legal to transport open alchoholic beverages if the person(s) in control of said beverages have hired a registered livery vehicle (such as a taxi or a limosine legally registered as a For Hire livery vehicle) and are isolated from the vehicle operator.

Plans to reform our government to more Christian-like principals are in the works and we may feel the effects, right here in the Upstate. That is because South Carolina has been chosen as the place for hundreds, even thousands of Christians to move to, in hopes of impacting the government. But people who live here have mixed opinions about the Christian Exodus.

Denise Collins-Bennett lives in Florence, SC and says, "I guess it's great to have more Christian groups moving here."

Here, is South Carolina: the chosen location for the Christian Exodus, a non-profit group organizing Christians to move to the Palmetto State to concentrate the number of Christians in one location with the intent to influence how the state governs. A plan that some residents say we need.

"I think it's fantastic, I think we need more of that actually. I don't know which direction our government is heading in, but I think they need Christian influence, it would go a long way, I really think so," says Mauldin resident, Reggie Brown.

Percy Croft of Greenville agrees, "America was founded on Christian principals...people with different views about Christianity, you have them getting into the elected positions and they don't want to see this country stay the way it is, they want it to change...They're getting away from what they were founded on."

But others say a Christian Exodus isn't a good idea.

According to Windy Sizemore of York, SC, "I don't think that any one group trying to take over is good in anything."

DeLane Breen lives in Greenville , she says, "Just the whole planned, big group, I don't know, the concept scares me a little bit and I'm not in favor of it at all."

The Group says they plan on having 2500 Christians moved to South Carolina by September 2006, and will begin several political campaigns at that time. They hope to have a major impact on State government by 2014.

Brown says, "I think it's great, bring them on."

Many others in the Upstate don’t agree with Brown’s enthusiasm and say they’re against the Exodus, this even includes Christians and Church Leaders and Pastors.

A conference on the Christian Exodus will be held in Greenville at the Hilton October 14-16, space is limited to only 210 people. You can find out more information on the conference and Exodus at http://www.christianexodus.org.

I also dont beleive u got arrested just for having alcohol in the car. Ive been caught in myrtle beach with alcohol and they gave us all minor in possession of alcohol tickets and made us poor the booze out and let us go on our way....

thats what happened to a group of friends of mine that went down the weekend prior to us..they poured their alcohol out and let them go...

bail was $360 a person, no we werent acting like assholes i was eating a god **** roast beef sandwhich, we never even had a chance to act like assholes to the cops
