I don't know much about Rockford Fosgate but I've heard that Soundstream's stuff has started ******* due to the fact all their stuff is assembled in Korea. I jes don't know whether this is old school Soundstream or new SS. I've been looking for an Amp that runs 2000 watts @ 2 Ohms and both of these do that but I wanna know which one is better.

Soundstream Tarantula - Soundstream Tarantula 1 Ch 2000 Watt Amplifier

I can find the SS for about $900 bucks and the Fosgate for $1400. please Tell me which one you think would be better for Crystal CMPX215. (I know I posted this before but last time i was asking whether 2000 watts or 2500 watts would be better). Much help is appreciated.

I'm also gonna throw this one in. I gotta friend who wants to use it to power his Solo X 12"

Visonik V4000XD

* Rms Power @ 14.4V DC: 1 x 2500W @ 4 Ohm, 1 x 3500W @ 2 Ohm

* Bridgeable with second Class X Amplifier

* 24dB Variable Subsonic Filter

* 24dB Variable Low Pass Filter

* 0 - 18 dB Variable Bass Boost

* Remote Gain Control module

* RCA Line OutPut

Yeah I mean the Fosgate would be nice but I only NEED 2000 watts @ 2 Ohms. So if it will get the job done just as good as the Fosgate at 2 Ohms I see no reason to spend an extra 200-400$ for power i'm not gonna use.

thanks. WHEW that saved me $401 dollars. Thanks for the Help CBass and Jmac thanks for the guide (power gains one).

This is the one I'm plannin on gettin'. Hopefully next time I post i'll have pics of my whole system.
