Soundstream TX1.2000D Question

I might be getting the Soundstream TX1.2000D this year and I read on Soundstreams website that it has 4AWG power terminals? How can that be right, I thought 4AWG was only good around 1000w?

Also, if anyone knows of a better amp around the 2000w area please share it!

heres a better suggestion. and will outperform the soundstream.

its a db drive pd2000.1 you should chaeck them out, they have them refurbished from audiosavings.com for $240. this amp has dual 4ga inputs this is a 2k BEAST

also i think there are some brand 4 gauges that will carry 2k not 100% sure tho.

Lets say that you have a run of 1/0 running to a fuse that is only...less then 10" from the amp.

A length of real 4ga 10" or less should deal with that current fine.

my friend has that ss amp, its not 2k but not a bad amp either, i think u can find better for the money, Definitely if ur willimng to go used
