soundstream trantula 15" t5-15?

i was looking at the 15" trantula T5-15 d2. anyone know about these. are they any good for SPL/SQ. my amp will run a single but im not sure on there performance. any help would be great.thanks

require a lot more power the 1 kw they are rated...personally ive listened to the old series 12'' on just under 2 kw and it pounds..sq? so so, wasnt impressed

thanks man. i just need some input on these subs. its difficult as hell to decide what single d2 15" to use for 1100watts rms in 3cu/ft

well personally i dont see SQ with that much power, sounding good with it, is another story...they sound ok, nothing more nothing less, good spl...the newer ones from the old series supposadly have issues with the coils or smthg when given lot of power(smthg to do with the coil holder(second hand information from a guy that workes for the dealership)) but that was with much more power then u have so u should be fine
