Soundstream RUB4.500 vs Arc Audio XXD4080

I'm getting an amp installed next week to power a set of Hertz ESK165 front components and a JL W1 sub. Assume you can get these two amps for the exact same price, which would you choose? It will be installed in the back in a compartment underneath the carpet so it's needs to be efficient and not overheat easily. I was told that digital amps tend to run cooler than analog amps. What's the difference between a class A/B amp and a class D? Is one better than the other? I know nobody has any experience with the Arc since it's a new line but compare the specs, overall brand quality, and digital versus analog. Please avoid recommending other amps since I'm getting it installed at a shop and this is what we've narrowed it down to on my budget.

Arc Audio XXD4080 - Digital amp, 80W X 4 rms

Soundstream Rubicon 4.500 - 75W X 4 rms

Thanks!

Alex

I just ordered a Rub4.500, and from what I've been told they have the best crossovers out of any line that Soundstream has (besides the Reference of course)

I'd go with the SS...but that's just me.

Arc audio gets my vote. I like all the amps but not the speakers. Older SS stuff was nice not real good news on the newer stuff, unless you just have a spider fetish.
