Well i just picked up a 12w7 and hopefully later on im going to get one more so im looking for an amp that can power 1 w7 now and then another one later on when i get the funds..i loved my orion but i think i blew some output fets on it and so i might as well get a new amp and just sell that. I heard the sounstream picasso is a good amp to get for the 2 w7's? Anyone have anything to say about this amp? Also what are some other good amplifiers around 2000-2500 watts that can push a 12w7 alone for a while then 2 12w7 later? thanks in advance

i love my pca..thing was an animal. didnt get hot, ive heard they put out OVER rated power but have never had the time to conduct the proper test to determine so.

ran it at 1ohm pushin imy mt's..so you know that thing was workin. never gave me the least bit of problem.

hooked it up to my Fi's..blew. twice.

lolll it blew twice with fi's? im getting it for 240 but its used but still under warranty... so should i stay away from it then or get something else? any suggestions

nah, mine was user error. was being stupid and didnt double check the gains. held on for a good while before it blew. longer than most other amps would have.

$240 is a good price, mine was in the $350-$400 area bnib

i **** at wiring, and diagrams and how to wire subs. if you can get 2 w7 wired to an outcome of 1 ohm stable, itll run them.

i dont know much about orion if they are under/overrated, but ive HEARD the pca is underrated (puts out more power than they say). probably not around 2500 tho. maybe 22-2300, at best. but still enough.
