i did alot of research and decided that this was the best amp with the most power i could get for under 250. i know its not gonna do 1700 watts but i hear its pretty close. Any thoughts? or comments about this amp? im using it to power my 15"tc-3000

um, i'm pretty sure the manufacturer won't give you a warranty.

i think the seller does warrant for 30 or 60 days or something, but it is new.

i been lookig for a bigish amp, best i can find is a lanzar opti doig about 1200rms for $280. where these soundstreams @?

They usually offer the square trade warranty with ebay auctions. Maybe you should wait and see if it goes up on ebay.

someone i know who competes is selling like 6 of them for 170 a piece if i remember right. they looked to be well taken care of. pm if ur insterested

i got an ega1400d. but imo soundstream amps are pretty solid. i don't know about the pic but my ega is under-rated. and i ran it for over a year at 1/2ohm daily w/ no issues.
