well yeah i looked at thier web site and it stated that it could handle 8500watts rms and i talked to tha peeps that work there they said it could handle that much power rms so i take their word for it and is there any other sub thats as good?

No. That sub CAN NOT handle 8500 true watts thermally for a daily driving setup. believe what you want. It is not possible.

As for your other question. That sub is actually nothing special. So is there anything as good, sure. Even better if you ask me and hundreds of other people.

Why don't you come back in 2-4 years when your ready to actually make the purchase. And see if there are any new developments in the industry.

That sub is Thermally incapable of surviving a constant 8500rms watts for more than a burp. It's simple physics.
