as far as the amp, you are probably good getting an Elemental Designs Nine.1. You could save like 50 bucks and go for a hifonics, but then you won't have the warranty, and Elemental Designs is a much more solid brand than Hifonics.
true tehy are a solid brand. nothing but great reviews for the nine.1
as for me, i went the hifonics route, w/ a 1 yr warranty.
as i see it, as long as i dont f*ck w/ my controls and toy w/ my amp, i shouldnt have any problems w/ it breaking down.
and the THD% between the two, yes the eD has less THD% (not even 1% difference i believe) so it will not even be significant to the ear.
i ordered my tx1005d yesterday.
and 1400w to an ava is too much. and rl-p's dont even need that much to reach full excursion.
